Where do I start the buying process?

Start by understanding your financial position.

A mortgage advisor can help you find the right loan and explain extra costs, like bank fees and government charges.

They can also guide you on available grants, like the First Home Owner Grant. Need help? We can connect you with lenders or advisors, just contact Alma’s estate manager Joel Murray on (03) 9115 8663.

When can I start building my new home?

You can start building once your lot is titled after civil construction is complete. We’ll keep you updated and notify you at key milestones:

    • Civil construction is complete, and the plan of subdivision is sent to the council.
    • The plan is lodged at the Land Titles Office.
    • Titles are issued once the plan is registered.

Your builder will confirm when construction can begin and provide estimated timelines.

Are there any building requirements or design guidelines?

The First Home Owner Grant helps eligible Australians buy their first home. Criteria can change, so check with your legal advisor and visit the State Revenue Office website: sro.vic.gov.au/first-home-owner.
